ProKatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Required Skills & Experience : -1 year of experience. -Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures. -Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques. -Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees. -Good verbal and written communication skills. -Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. -Some computer skills. Preferred Skills & Experience: -N/A null

Required Education : -Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Preferred Education : -Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.

Required Certifications & Licensure : -Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC). -Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association. -ACLS (American Heart Association). 

Schedule Notes: Weekends and holidays required. Float Pool position including floating to 34 bed PICU, 25 bed CICU, and 112 bed NICU. Must have level 1 Trauma exp. and be able to float in all of children's. Specifically float to acute care units - surgical, behavioral health, med specialty (gi, neuro, respiratory), hem onc, step down unit, cardiac peds. Must have experience with trach, hi flow experience, familiar with infusion, first line for skills. Could be floated to NICU but only to take care of feeder growers, low acuity, not traditional NICU.
