A.R. Mazzotta is partnering with a respected Connecticut employer to hire an experienced Call Center Customer Service Representative for their high-volume customer service team. This temporary opportunity offers the potential for permanent hire, a hybrid work schedule after approximately three months of onsite training, and excellent opportunities for internal growth and advancement.

Convenient commute from: Madison, Clinton, Guilford, Killingworth, Westbrook, Old Saybrook, Essex, Deep River, Chester, Durham, Branford, North Branford, East Haddam, Haddam, East Lyme, Niantic, Middletown, and surrounding Connecticut communities. Candidates should be able to reliably commute to the office building during the onsite training period.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Full-time | 40 hours per week
• Onsite training Monday-Friday for approximately 3 months
• Hybrid Schedule: After successful completion of approximately 3 months of onsite training, a hybrid/remote schedule is available.

What You'll Do

• Answer a high volume of inbound customer calls while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Assist customers with billing questions, payments, service requests, account inquiries, and transfers.
• Review customer records, billing information, and service history to accurately answer questions and resolve concerns.
• Enter detailed account notes and updates while speaking with customers.
• Generate reports and access customer information using multiple computer systems.
• Coordinate with field service personnel to support customer needs.
• Provide occasional reception coverage at regional offices when needed.
• Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and assist with additional projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of recent call center, contact center, or high-volume inbound customer service experience.
• Banking, credit union, or financial institution experience is highly desirable. Professionals from these environments have consistently been successful in this role due to their strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and experience managing customer accounts.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer navigation and accurate data entry skills.
• Comfortable using multiple computer applications while speaking with customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and other standard office software.
• Ability to remain organized, professional, and accurate in a fast-paced environment.
