Regional Sales Manager - Commercial Lighting & EVSE | Pacific Northwest

Overview

An established lighting and electrical technology manufacturer is seeking a Regional Sales Manager – Pacific Northwest to drive sales growth across the region.

This role will manage and develop an independent sales representative network, expand business through electrical distribution, and build project opportunities with ESCOs, electrical contractors, and commercial and industrial customers. The ideal candidate brings strong technical sales experience within commercial lighting, LED retrofit, and/or EV charging markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve regional sales targets through effective territory and channel development.
  

• Lead, train, and develop independent manufacturer sales representatives.
  

• Grow sales through national and local electrical distribution partners.
  

• Develop business with ESCOs, electrical contractors, lighting contractors, architects, and end users.
  

• Build territory sales plans focused on profitable growth and increased market penetration.
  

• Provide product and technical training on LED lighting and EVSE solutions.
  

• Manage project pricing and stock business through distribution.
  

• Identify new commercial and industrial LED retrofit and EV charging opportunities.
  

• Monitor competitive activity, market pricing, and customer requirements.
  

• Partner with inside sales, customer service, and marketing to support regional customers and sales initiatives.
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial lighting and/or EVSE sales experience.
  

• 3+ years of technical sales experience.
  

• 3+ years selling through electrical distribution.
  

• 3+ years managing independent sales representatives.
  

• Strong knowledge of commercial lighting, LED retrofit, EVSE, and the electrical industry.
  

• Experience selling to or developing relationships with ESCOs and electrical contractors.
  

• Proven territory development, channel management, and relationship-building skills.
  

• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and product-training capabilities.
  

• Self-directed and comfortable managing a multi-state sales territory.
  

Location & Travel

Preferred location: Seattle, WA or Denver, CO with approximately 40% regional travel

Ideal Candidate

A results-driven sales professional who understands the commercial lighting and electrical distribution channel and can develop sales reps, strengthen distributor relationships, generate ESCO and contractor opportunities, and convert projects into profitable regional growth.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
