Job Title: Assembler I Location: South Chesterfield, VA What We're Looking For: We are looking for an Assembler I who will be responsible for working cooperatively as part of a production team to manufacture and assemble high quality Glass, Doors, Frames and Subcomponents. What You'll Be Responsible For In This Role: Responsible for the assembly or production of component parts into completed subassemblies, assemblies or completed units adhering to the assembly traveler/standard work instructions. Inspects parts or completed units by using visual inspection, gages, tape measures, check fixtures, calipers, or other inspection equipment. Perform end of line product checks and/or repairs. Notifies / communicates with assemblers, leads, and supervisors or upstream changes to ensure products are to specification. Assist assembly groups with problem solving. Makes recommendations for in-line and subsequent checks to increase first pass yield. What Are The Basic Qualifications? High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 1 -2 years of production assembly work To Be A Great Fit For The Role: Basic reading/writing skills Good communication skills Understanding of 6S Ability to read and understand all job specifications Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk and/or sit for long periods of time What's In It For You?
