JOB SUMMARY:

Greet and seat all guests. Answer phones and take reservations. Assist in overall service to guests following The Palms Hotel & Spa Standards and adhering to the hotels' sustainability guidelines.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Warmly welcome and graciously acknowledge guests upon arrival, creating a polished and inviting first impression.
• Manage guest seating and table assignments efficiently while maintaining awareness of reservations, guest preferences, and restaurant flow.
• Answer incoming calls professionally, provide accurate information, and manage reservations in a courteous and timely manner.
• Coordinate closely with the Restaurant team to support smooth service, appropriate seating, and an exceptional guest experience.
• Monitor the dining room and assist guests throughout their visit, anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests.
• Maintain a professional, polished appearance and consistently demonstrate The Palms Hotel & Spa's luxury service standards.
• Follow established hotel procedures and sustainability guidelines in all aspects of daily operations

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond to guest concerns, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and discretion, escalating issues to the Manager on Duty (M.O.D.) as appropriate.
• Consistently deliver a high level of personalized guest service, exceeding expectations and supporting guest satisfaction in accordance with The Palms Hotel & Spa's service standards.
• Participate in F&B meetings, training programs, and departmental initiatives to maintain service knowledge and operational excellence.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable health, food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards within assigned areas.
• Follow all hotel fire, life-safety, security, and emergency procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and colleagues.
• Support The Palms Hotel & Spa's sustainability practices by consistently following the guidelines and procedures of the Inspired by Nature Program.

WORK CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Most of the time spent standing, walking or there are some requirements to lift moderate weight (10-40 pounds).
• There may be regular exposure to mild discomfort from factors such as dust, odors, extreme temperature, inclement weather, noise, or lights.

The hotel operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The team member must be willing and available to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays and other schedules as required. We may find it necessary to re-schedule shifts according to our business volume. You must be willing and available to fulfill changing operational demands.
