Technicians must navigate NYC's strict building and environmental codes to ensure optimal indoor air quality and energy efficiency across dense urban areas. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Respond to customer service requests related to mechanical issues with HVAC equipment, and work alongside and assist other employees in completing assigned work ordersPerforms routine maintenance on HVAC systems including circuits, compressors, refrigerant lines and more to ensure they operate properlyInspects and troubleshoots problems with existing HVAC unitsInstall replacement parts on existing HVAC unitsHands-on experience and working knowledge in troubleshooting HVAC systems, split, and packaged unitsReport to work as scheduled with minimal absenteeism or tardinessWork safely and use safety equipment; be familiar with and adhere to EPA and OSHA policiesEnsure that Company and Government safety, policy and regulatory standards are met while maintaining zero preventable incidentsProvide services and interact with customers to ensure that we provide all our customers with the best possible satisfactionAttend and complete relevant on-the-job training as requiredPosition RequirementsMinimum 5 years' experience in a similar positionHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Clean Driver's LicenseVRF/VRV and controls experience preferredEPA 608 Universal CertificateOSHA 30 or SSTF60 Fire Guard Torch OperationsG60 Torch Use of Flammable GasesR-32/A2L CertificationFlexible work schedule, including 6 or 7 days a week, or extended hours, as necessaryGeographical knowledge of NYC service area and map reading skillsPossess a positive, can-do attitudeMUST be a team playerPhysical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:Sit, stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and squat for prolonged periods of time and/or repeatedly over a required periodAbility to lift 50 pounds independentlyAbility to climb 36-to-72-inch ladder or scaffoldConstantly work in severe outdoor weather conditions, with exposure to oil and/or fumes and the elementsReach with and work with hands and arms overheadIdentify and avoid Hazardous waste including Asbestos hazardsAbility to work while wearing a face mask, safety goggles and any other required PPEFull-Time/Part-Time - Full-TimeBenefits - Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, 401(k) with MatchingPay - $30 to $50 per hourExempt/Non-Exempt - Non-ExemptLocation - WoodsideEnergo is a rapidly growing energy supplier that provides a broad range of energy products and services to customers in NY and surrounding areas.
