Analyze calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and company deductions.**LOCATION:** The position is based on-site at DrinkPAK's facility in Santa Clarita, California.**BENEFITS:** The well-being of our team members and their families is critically important to us. As part of this commitment, we offer:● PPO medical, dental, and vision insurance for our employees AND their dependents, 100% paid by the Company● A cell phone stipend● Annual discretionary bonus● 401(k) match program, pet insurance, life insurance, and more**RESPONSIBILITIES**● Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 450 employees in Southern California● Review timecards daily for missing punches, missing supervisor notes, tardies, missed shifts, etc. to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing every two weeks● Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting● Prepare and analyze payroll reports, presenting findings to Payroll Manager● Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries professionally and efficiently● Maintain payroll records and prepare reports on payroll activities for management review● Initiate Off-Cycle payments, as needed● Collaborate with HR and Accounting departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and financial reporting● Monitor changes and remain current on legal, regulatory, or governmental requirements (wage & hour, garnishments, 401(k), etc.)● Ensure employees and supervisors approve timecards by the deadline each pay period to ensure timely payroll processing● Ensure accurate data entry in payroll system● Process and monitor garnishment orders● Perform ad hoc assignments and special projects as assignedPlease note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without prior notice.**QUALIFICATIONS**● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred● Atleast 1-2 years of experience in California payroll processing or accounting roles● 6 months to 1 year of experience in Workday Payroll, Time Tracking & Absence required● Fundamental Payroll Professional (FPP) designation is preferred, but not required● Bilingual (English & Spanish) is preferred● Must be comfortable working in an open workspace / bullpen● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills● Well-organized, detail-oriented, and strong ability to multi-task● Knowledge of IRS and various state regulations regarding payroll and accounting reconciliations/auditing techniques preferred● Ability to meet deadlines & maintains a “right the first-time” mentality● Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel software applications● Continuous improvement mindset**OUR VALUES**Our company’s culture is guided by our shared values of Speed, Intensity, and Purpose.
