Receptionist

Davenport's Virginia Beach Branch is seeking a full-time Receptionist. The ideal candidate serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors in a financial office while performing a variety of clerical, administrative, and customer service duties. This includes managing incoming calls, scheduling meetings, maintaining client records, preparing and processing paperwork, handling correspondence, and supporting branch daily office operation; ensuring accurate data entry, filing, document management, mail distribution, and office organization while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive client information; and providing exceptional client service and contributes to the efficient operation of the office through strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Answering and routing phone calls
• Greeting clients and visitors
• Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
• Maintaining filing systems and client records
• Performing data entry and database updates
• Preparing correspondence and reports
• Processing incoming and outgoing mail
• Scanning, copying, and organizing documents
• Ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory
• Assisting with general office administration and client support activities

Qualifications

• Professional demeanor
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to learn and master computer programs that house customer data
• Basic bookkeeping skills and record keeping ability
• Ability to understand and adhere to industry rules and regulations
• Interest in the Financial Services industry a plus
