Position Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented Aerospace Inspector to join our Quality team in Owasso, OK. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with FAA/EASA regulations, AS9100 standards, and internal quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting aircraft components, interpreting technical data, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming, in-process, and final of parts and assemblies.
• Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges) to verify tolerances.
• Ensure all components meet FAA regulations, customer specifications, and internal standards.
• Review and verify paperwork including Certificates of Conformance, work orders, and inspection reports.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records per FAA and AS9100 requirements.
• Identify and report nonconformances, assist with root cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
• Perform calibrations as needed
• Support audits (internal, customer, FAA) and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in aerospace quality preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in aerospace or FAA repair station inspection.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations (Part 145), AS9100, and aerospace documentation practices.
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools and basic mechanical inspection techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of CMM programming using Zeiss Calypso software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT), calibration, or special processes is a plus.
• Be able to lift at least 50 pounds

Preferred Certifications (not required):
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)
• IPC, NADCAP, or NDT Level II Certification

Working Conditions:
• Full-time position; on-site in Owasso, OK.
• May involve standing for extended periods and working around machinery or repair equipment.
• Standard workweek with occasional overtime or shift adjustments depending on production needs.
