Role Summary

The Senior Portfolio Investment Analyst (PIA) resides within the Investment and Trading Solutions group. The PIA works directly alongside portfolio managers and traders to assist with the day-to-day portfolio modeling and management of accounts and orders. The PIA will also be expected to provide support to the investment process and perform ad-hoc analysis related to the strategies.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Modeling: Partner directly with the portfolio management team on the day-to-day modeling of the strategy through exposure monitoring, trade allocations and cash flow management.

• Work with internal systems designed for portfolio management and trade modeling

• Coordinate with the analysts, portfolio managers, traders, compliance and legal on portfolio and security transactions

• Monitor portfolio analytics and generate and run accurate orders through the trade cycle

• Determine accurate interest rate and currency hedging information, and other related daily portfolio functions.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Math or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

• 3+ years T. Rowe Price or related experience

• Prior experience with Equity OR Fixed Income Portfolios

• Savvy use of technology in combination with a data driven mindset

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems

• Ability to quickly process information, draw relevant conclusions, and clearly summarize results.

• Ability to determine priorities, plan, organize and follow-through on assignments

• Effective written and verbal communication and organizational skills

• Project management experience

Preferred:

• Progress towards an MBA, MS in Finance, or CFA designation

• Strong preference for candidates with fixed income experience.

• Knowledge of derivatives and multiple asset classes

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.

Base Salary Ranges

$95,000.00-$110,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers $95,000.00-$110,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C. $95,000.00-$110,000.00 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role . Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package . Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
