Job Title: Digital Records Processing Clerk

Job Type: Contract (3 month assignment)

Job Salary: $21/hour

Job Schedule: M-F, 40 hrs/week

Job Location: Houston, TX 77011

We are seeking a detail-oriented Records Digitization Specialist to support a document imaging and records management project. This role involves preparing documents for scanning, reviewing scanned files for accuracy, indexing records, and maintaining organized electronic files.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize documents for scanning.
  
• Scan and digitize records following established procedures.
  
• Review scanned images to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  
• Index and upload records into a document management system.
  
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive documents.
  
• Meet productivity and quality standards.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
  
• 0–2 years of experience in data entry, document processing, records management, administrative support, or a related field.
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
• Basic computer and data entry proficiency.
  
• Ability to lift and move records boxes as needed.
  

Preferred

• Experience with document scanning, records management, or electronic document systems.
  
• Previous experience in a high-volume administrative or records environment.
