Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Must have 12 months permanent MS/Tele experience. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand. Certifications: American Red Cross BLS & ACLS required. Must-Have: Willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start. One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, and an acceptable score on both assessments is required. Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in MS/Tele for an 18-week winter coverage. Night shifts will consist of three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the MS/Tele specialty. A permanent Ohio license or compact state license must be provided at the time of submission. BLS and ACLS certifications must be active and in hand prior to starting. Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification is mandatory before starting. Candidates must provide one recent reference from a managerial level within the specialty. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. Traveler assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate will take place during orientation. Successful completion of both assessments is required. Candidates are permitted two attempts to pass; failure to do so will result in cancellation. All submissions must adhere to the outlined requirements, and all references must be verified. This role is subject to compliance with all necessary health and safety regulations. Candidates are encouraged to discuss and outline any required time off during the interview process.
