Associate Attorney

We’re seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join a well-established law firm with a strong insurance litigation practice. This role is ideal for an attorney with experience handling insurance-related litigation, including coverage disputes, personal injury, premises liability, and bad faith claims . You’ll play a key role in managing litigation matters from pre-litigation through trial while working alongside a collaborative and experienced legal team. Handle a diverse caseload involving insurance-related litigation, including coverage disputes, personal injury, premises liability, and bad faith claims. Investigate and defend first- and third-party insurance claims from pre-litigation through trial and appeal. Conduct and defend depositions, draft dispositive motions, and represent clients at hearings in state and federal courts. Prepare legal research, coverage analyses, and strategic recommendations for clients throughout the litigation process. Collaborate with clients, insurance carriers, and attorneys to develop effective litigation strategies and case resolutions. Manage day-to-day responsibility for assigned matters, including client communication, case strategy, and litigation deadlines. Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school. 3+ years of litigation experience , preferably with an emphasis on insurance-related litigation. Strong experience handling coverage disputes, personal injury, premises liability, bad faith claims, or similar insurance litigation matters. Experience investigating and defending first- and third-party claims, taking and defending depositions, drafting dispositive motions, and attending court hearings. Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual base salary for this position is between $150,000 – $190,000 , depending on experience. Factors that may affect compensation include experience, qualifications, skills, and overall fit for the role.
