Job Summary

Job Shift: Rotate

Job Type: Full Time

Up to $2,500 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

The Pharmacy Tech performs technical and support services in accordance with policies and procedures established by the health-system in the practice of pharmaceutical care. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Delivers medications and pharmaceutical supplies to patient care areas.
• Utilizes computer applications to efficiently execute job tasks.
• Prepares Patient Care Orders in a precise and accurate manner.
• Processes Unit Inspections on a monthly basis.
• Provides follow-up communication between Nursing and Pharmacy.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

• High School Diploma

Minimum Experience:

• 1-2 years Hospital experience preferred

Licensure & Certifications

• Current registration with the State of Florida Board of Pharmacy, or licensed FL Pharmacy Intern
