AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE CONSULTANT
Panama City, Florida
Our locally owned automotive dealership is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Service Consultant to join our team!
If you enjoy working with people, have a passion for automobiles, and can provide exceptional customer service while keeping repairs organized and moving efficiently, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
- Greet customers and assist them with their vehicle repair and service needs
- Write and manage repair orders
- Communicate repair recommendations and updates clearly to customers
- Coordinate with technicians and the service department
- Contact and work with warranty companies and extended service contract providers
- Obtain authorization for covered repairs
- Collect customer payments and close repair orders
- Schedule appointments and follow up with customers
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle information
- Help ensure every customer has a positive service experience
- Perform other duties as needed to support the service department
What We're Looking For:
- Automotive service or dealership experience preferred
- Franchise dealership experience is a plus, but NOT required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional, friendly, and dependable attitude
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable discussing vehicle repairs and costs with customers
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
