Job Duties

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical evaluations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical-related conditions using imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, preparing the surgical environment, ensuring patient safety, and supporting surgical teams with instruments during operations
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative patient care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and educational support

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Previous clinical rotations emphasizing surgical practice highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and active PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
