This roleprovidescompassionate guidance on property rules,assistswith conflict resolution, and delivers trauma-informed crisis intervention. Key responsibilities includemaintainingaccuratedocumentation, collaborating with community partners, and upholding best practices. Available Positions 2 Location Palmer Court Reports to Property & Staff Supervisor Position Status Full‑Time (Grave) & Part‑Time (Swing) Shift/Schedule Swing (Part‑Time) - 3 PM - 11 PM Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday‑Sunday. Very Flexible. Grave (Full‑Time) - 11 PM - 7 AM;Sunday‑Wednesday (Thursday/Friday off). Not Flexible Pay Grade and Starting Rate Grade 4/$16.80/hour FLSA Status Non‑Exempt ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide excellent, trauma‑informed customer service to residents, their families, guests, donors, vendors, community agencies, and staff. Work effectively with diverse clients by being culturally responsive and approaching individuals from all racial, socio‑economic, and ethnic backgrounds with respect and openness. Consistently apply a Trauma‑Informed Care perspective when interacting with individuals who have experienced trauma. Provide crisis intervention as needed, includingdeterminingwhen to elevate situations to other staff, administration, or authorities. Provide clear, specific, and consistent information to residents, includinginstructionon property rules and procedures. Monitor resident activities to ensure the safety and security of residents, volunteers, and staff. Assistin mediating and resolving conflicts that arise among residents. Assistinmaintaininga clean and safe facility byidentifyingspecial needs and reporting them to a supervisor. Perform regular rounds of the building to proactively check for safety and security concerns. Draft detailed incident reports,maintainaccuraterecords of resident and guest activity, and keep a precise shift log. Attendmandatory agencytrainings, including Trauma‑Informed Care,HousingFocused, De‑escalation, Suicide Prevention, CPR, and more. Participate in emergency drillsand environmental safety activities,asrequired. Follow all agency protocols for security, safety, and sanitation tomaintaina clean and secure environment for guests and staff. *Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Experience working with diverseand/or vulnerablepopulationsis preferred. High school diploma or GEDispreferred. SKILLS AND EXPECTATIONS Maintain self‑regulation and emotional composure inhigh‑stressor crisis situations. Demonstratestrongwritten communication and precise documentation skills. Accurately document incidents and enter data into relevant databasesin a timely manner. Thrive in a fast‑paced environment that requiresstrongmulti‑tasking skills. Employ strong conflict de‑escalation and mediation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully and effectively. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse populations. Providethoughtful and attentivecustomer service by communicating clearly and handlingdifficult situationswith professionalism, patience, and empathy. Use basic computer programs (email, spreadsheets, and more) and have basic computer skills. Ability to accept supervision, direction, and feedback with openness. Be reliable, dependable, and consistent in attendance. PHYSICAL AND EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift and move heavy itemsup to 25 pounds. Ability to sit, stand, andmovefor at least an hour at a time or more. Ability to bend, squat, kneel, twist, push, and pull to perform job functions. Ability to use stairs or steps.
