Temporary Project & Billing Coordinator

Montrose Area, Houston TX, $35-45/hour DOE Well-established architectural firm in the Montrose area is seeking a Temporary Project & Billing Coordinator to provide maternity leave coverage from Monday, October 19 through December 24, 2026 . Ideal opportunity for someone who is highly organized, exceptionally detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a small professional office. Role works onsite Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. Office hours are 8:30am - 6:00pm with flexibility around daily start time. This position reports to the Project Director and is primarily focused on accounts payable, accounts receivable, project billing, and general bookkeeping, along with general administrative support for the office. Track and enter project expenses using time-tracking software Generate monthly project invoices Process lien releases with project invoices through AIA software (one project monthly) Manage client and consultant invoicing Manage office bills, including power, internet, water, storage units, etc. Coordinate Interiors invoicing with the Project Director Manage Company Finances Manage company accounts payable and accounts receivable Deposit checks at the bank Manage receipts and office overhead expenses Generate monthly company invoice summaries Manage employee reimbursements, including license fees, testing fees, mileage, etc., through QuickBooks Track printing costs Assist with quarterly and year-end taxes and coordinate with CPA BQE Core & Time Tracking Enter Principal's time for billing Sync information as needed Check employee time and PTO tracking Administrative Support Responsibilities Provide general support to the Admin Team Support the Principal as needed Assist Project Managers with administrative needs Troubleshoot general office issues, including technology, library samples, and contacting building maintenance Run office errands as needed Provide front desk coverage when the Receptionist is unavailable Assist with company events, including the holiday party, birthday celebrations, lunch 'n learns, and other office activities Requirements Exceptionally high attention to detail Strong background in accounting or bookkeeping Comfortable working in QuickBooks and Excel Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr Select Search Consultants, LP
