Role Overview Epicured is seeking two 1st Shift (Schedule: Tuesday- Saturday 6:30AM-3:30PM) Operations Supervisors to join our Healing Foods Facility team in Staten Island. Reporting to the General Facility Manager, the Operations Supervisors will oversee daily warehouse and fulfillment operations, supervising a team of approximately five associates each. This role is hands‑on and fast‑paced, ideal for someone who leads by example, thrives in an organized environment, and takes pride in operational excellence. You’ll work closely with fulfillment, logistics, and quality assurance teams to maintain smooth daily operations and uphold Epicured’s high food safety standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and support a team of five fulfillment and packaging associates. Oversee daily build‑out of food delivery boxes, ensuring each order meets Epicured’s quality and food safety standards. Coordinate and monitor outbound shipments, partnering with DoorDash, Roadie, FedEx, UPS, and other delivery providers. Verify all work orders, pick lists, and packing specifications for accuracy prior to shipment. Enforce SOPs, sanitation protocols, and daily equipment/facility checklists including temperature logs and cleaning schedules. Maintain clear communication with warehouse leadership to ensure production targets and delivery timelines are met. Conduct daily shift huddles to review priorities, assign responsibilities, and reinforce safety and quality goals. Identify process improvement opportunities and support a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Monitor employee performance, provide real‑time feedback, and document progress to support training and advancement. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, food production, or logistics operations. 1+ year of experience leading, training, or supervising team members in a fast‑paced environment. Strong understanding of inventory control, order picking, packing, and shipping processes. Proven ability to manage shift priorities, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain composure under pressure. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Comfortable working in refrigerated environments (35–40°F) and/or freezer environments (-10F–0°F) for extended periods and adhering to food safety standards. Comfortable using mobile apps and dispatch tools (DoorDash Merchant, Roadie, etc.). Excellent communication and leadership skills with a focus on teamwork, safety, and efficiency. Preferred Qualifications Experience in temperature‑controlled or food manufacturing operations. Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, or cold chain best practices. ServSafe, OSHA 10, or similar safety certifications. Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.
