As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Route Monitoring in Mechanicsville, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will assist visitors and personnel while reporting observations and supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at a government transportation location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, traffic-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
