What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests across various disciplineschemistry, hematology, immunology, among othersfollowing established standard operating procedures.
• Verify test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and sample preparation for testing as required.
• Document all laboratory procedures meticulously, mentor new staff or students, and support the lab in maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while complying with all necessary regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a similar allied health degree with preparations for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment period.
