Medical Office Administrator

Job Description Initiate calls to outside partners such as physicians or government payers. Assist incoming patients requiring assistance with medical supplies/orders. Place inventory replenishment orders with company and maintain local inventory. Print packing slips and labels. Accurately pack and ship inventory. Electronically send tracking numbers to corporate headquarters. Mail sorting and forwarding to corporate headquarters. Receive phone inquiries from clients. Host periodic site visits by clients. Communicate status updates to Manager, at least on weekly basis. Qualifications Specific Skills & Requirements: Minimum 1-year experience in healthcare-related position; training and experience in health service administration and at least one (1) year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care, hospice care or related health program. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office. May be required to lift up to 25 lbs. General Skills & Requirements: Basic computer knowledge. Detail‑oriented, with strong data entry skills. High tolerance for repetitive tasks. Strong, professional communication skills, both written & verbal. 2-3 years experience working in an office environment as an admin or clerk.
