Lab Technician

The Laboratory Technician will safely support product development and/or technical service of customers by doing general lab work including preparation and testing of materials. Responsibilities Safely perform physical testing of chemicals/ingredients. Provide quality testing, sampling, analysis, formulation, characterization to ensure quality/standards are being met. Document quality activities to prove a record of quality compliance efforts. Maintain cleanliness of the lab as well as other routine laboratory tasks. Conduct quality control testing and recertification of products as necessary. Participate in joint sales calls and conference calls with sales representatives at customers. Participate in principal/vendor visits and conference calls to present lab findings and recommendations. Other duties assigned. Your Profile Analytical and conceptual thinking. Ability to set priorities and meet objectives. Proven time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Strong written and oral communication skills. Self‑motivated and task oriented. Experience/ Education Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field or commensurate education and experience. One year of laboratory experience preferred.
