Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Part-Time Temporary Location: Onsite Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (16–20 hours per week) Pay Rate: $28–$30 per hour. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide administrative and patient coordination support for our nursing department. This role focuses on enhancing patient communication, improving treatment compliance, reducing missed appointments, supporting care coordination, and assisting nursing staff with administrative functions. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the nursing department, including travel arrangements, document preparation, shipping coordination, meeting minutes, data collection/reporting, and interdepartmental communication. Ensure HIPAA-compliant communication with providers, staff, and patients. Assist patients with provider search options and maintain provider and healthcare resource directories. Document case coordination activities and communications within the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Complete departmental audits and assist with regulatory compliance activities. Coordinate patient visit confirmations and facilitate communication between nurses and patients. Support wellness checks, follow-up calls, scheduling activities, and patient outreach efforts as directed. Track and organize Plans of Treatment (POTs) for completion and compliance monitoring. Assist with communication between nurses and provider offices, including prescription and documentation support. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a hospital, home healthcare, clinic, or medical office setting. Knowledge of medical terminology. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills. Dependable with strong professional judgment and teamwork abilities.
