Specimen Processor-3rd shift
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor for its Tucker, Georgia laboratory on a 3rd shift schedule (Monday-Friday, 6:30 pm-3:00 am with rotating weekends and holidays). The role involves preparing, routing, labeling, and shipping clinical specimens while maintaining accuracy and meeting production targets.
Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
- Unpack, route, identify, label, and pack specimens for shipment
- Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
- Resolve and document problem specimens
- Meet department activity and production goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable handling biological specimens
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Experience with MS Office
- 1+ year lab, accessioning, production, or warehouse experience (preferred)
