About the Role

The Company is seeking a Plant Engineering Director to lead the maintenance and engineering functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring peak equipment performance and minimal downtime by implementing advanced systems such as Preventative and Predictive Maintenance and TPM. This role involves leading capital projects, managing all phases to minimize operational disruption, and driving the development and execution of advanced maintenance strategies. The Director will also be tasked with leading and inspiring the maintenance team, problem-solving for operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement through the development of Key Performance Indicators. Candidates for the Plant Engineering Director position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree, and at least 10 years' of experience in engineering management. A minimum of 5 years' in a leadership role with team development and management experience is required. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical skills in the mechanical and electrical fields, a thorough knowledge of maintenance systems, and experience with work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, and TPM. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Knowledge of the meat industry and different pork products is preferred.
