This is a permanent position, ideally suited for a professional with a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, and a keen interest in the legal industry. This position is a crucial part of our team, providing essential support to our financial operations and playing a key role in maintaining the firm's financial health. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional time management skills, and a deep understanding of ebilling systems, particularly eBillingHub. Responsibilities: Managing the entire billing process, from data entry and invoice creation to payment collection and financial reporting. Collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff to ensure accurate and timely billing. Utilizing eBillingHub and other ebilling systems to process invoices and track payments. Monitoring accounts receivable and following up on outstanding balances. Performing regular audits to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Preparing financial reports and analyses to assist management in decision-making. Resolving billing disputes and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Assisting with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a billing or accounting role, preferably within a law firm. Exceptional knowledge of financial reporting and data entry. Proficiency in eBillingHub and other ebilling systems. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. A bachelor's or Associates degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred. Experience with legal billing and compliance regulations is a plus.
