HR Generalist - Manufacturing (High-Volume Environment)

We are looking for a hands-on HR Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting a workforce of 800+ employees. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing daily HR operations with employee-facing support and is experienced in employee relations and workplace investigations.

You will partner closely with the HR Manager and leadership team to deliver practical, effective HR solutions across the employee lifecycle—from onboarding to compliance, employee relations, and engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and federal, state, and local employment laws
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, addressing concerns and supporting a positive work environment
• Conduct and support workplace investigations, including documenting findings, making recommendations, and ensuring fair and consistent outcomes
• Assist in administering HR programs, including:
• • Benefits
  • Workers’ compensation
  • FMLA and leave tracking
  • Safety initiatives
  • Payroll and compensation support
• Execute HR initiatives and assist with projects while tracking key metrics
• Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing HR data and trends
• Partner with supervisors and managers to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Hands-on experience with employee relations and workplace investigations required
• Experience working in a high-volume workforce (hundreds of employees preferred)
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
• Experience with Paycor, ADP, or similar payroll systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Bilingual Spanish Preferred
