Job Title: Manager, Anti-Trafficking Initiatives & Strategy 

Reports To: Director of Anti-Human Trafficking Initiatives

Status: Full-Time, Exempt

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This role reports to the Director of Anti-Human Trafficking Initiatives with additional support provided to Executive Leadership.

Support the agency mission by providing hope and healing to those impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and child maltreatment through a trauma-informed, survivor-centered approach.

This full-time position serves a dual role within the organization:

• 50% Anti-Trafficking Initiatives & Community Partnerships focused on coordination of services, community partnerships, systems collaboration, training, program development, and anti-trafficking initiatives.
• 50% Executive Strategy & Program Operations providing high-level administrative, project management, relationship management, and community engagement support to agency executive leadership and key strategic initiatives.

The position works closely with community stakeholders, government agencies, funders, executive leadership, and partner organizations to strengthen community responses to human trafficking while supporting organizational priorities and agency growth.

 

Essential Responsibilities include:

Anti-Trafficking Initiatives (50%)

• Service Coordination
  • Support the establishment and long-term health of agency services for individuals impacted by human trafficking through strategic planning, outcome measurement, quarterly reporting, program evaluation, and maintenance of service-area policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the availability and coordination of quality services for survivors of human trafficking in collaboration with community partners, agency leadership, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Facilitate coordinated client care and referral pathways with community partners and serve as a liaison across Safe Alliance programs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of staff training initiatives that enhance knowledge, skills, ethical practice, and survivor-centered service delivery.
  • Manage client and stakeholder concerns, complaints, and grievances and utilize feedback to improve program quality and responsiveness
• Program Administration
  • Support successful implementation of agency-wide anti-trafficking initiatives by acting as a liaison between agency staff, funders, and stakeholders.
  • Attend cross-organizational meetings and manage contracts to ensure compliance with goals and objectives related to agency-wide initiatives.
  • Maintain confidential and accurate client, stakeholder, intern, volunteer, and program records in agency databases.
  • Research, write, and manage grant reports and grantor relationships as assigned.
  • Adhere to agency and program procedures concerning documentation, Critical Incident Reports, Client Satisfaction Surveys, and quality assurance processes.
  • Ensure the delivery of quality services through clear program procedures and guidelines.

Executive Program Coordination & Administrative Support (50%)

• Executive Support
  • Provide high-level administrative and project coordination support to executive leadership, including the President & CEO and other designated agency leaders.
  • Coordinate special projects, strategic initiatives, community partnerships, and cross-departmental activities.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain materials for executive meetings, board committees, community collaborations, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Draft, review, and coordinate correspondence, presentations, reports, briefing documents, meeting agendas, and follow-up action plans.
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and action items across multiple initiatives to ensure completion and accountability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

• Strategic Administration & Community Engagement
  • Support executive leadership in relationship management with funders, community leaders, government agencies, and strategic partners.
  • Assist in planning and executing executive-level events, community meetings, stakeholder convenings, and public engagement opportunities.
  • Coordinate partnership agreements, contracts, and reporting requirements associated with strategic initiatives.
  • Compile and organize program and organizational data to support decision-making and reporting.
  • Facilitate communication among agency leadership, departments, and external partners.

Shared Responsibilities

  • Represent the agency at local, regional, and statewide meetings, task forces, and collaborative initiatives.
  • Build, cultivate, and maintain strategic relationships with governmental, nonprofit, healthcare, education, labor, prosecution, regulatory, and law enforcement partners.
  • Act as a connector between community-based efforts and agency services, particularly those related to anti-trafficking initiatives.
  • Increase public awareness regarding human trafficking, victimization, prevention, and available resources through presentations, trainings, and community outreach activities.
  • Support agency visibility, community engagement, and strategic positioning through relationship-building and coordinated outreach efforts.
• Professional Development
  • Stay informed of best practices, developments, and trends related to trauma and victimization, including human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, and child maltreatment.
  • Stay abreast of training needs internally and throughout the community to enhance system-wide knowledge and expertise in combating human trafficking.
  • Maintain and develop professional skills and ensure required certifications and credentials remain current.
  • Contribute to agency effectiveness by performing other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• Requirements: High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Experience
• Preferences: Experience working with victims or experience in human services.
• Language: None

 

Physical Requirements

• Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly lift, twist, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Ability for close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus to perform an activity to determine accuracy and thoroughness of work assignment.
