Under general direction, develops functional specifications and coordinates the implementation and testing of modifications and enhancements of agency wide business systems; performs a variety of analytical and technical duties in support of fiscal and compliance responsibilities of Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) and/or its client agencies and acts as liaison between users and information technology staff to develop technology-based business solutions. The Well Qualified Candidate Will Possess the Following Knowledge: Terminology, methods, practices, and techniques of design, administration, research, testing, and assessment of enterprise business systems Financial and business systems and applications Systems analysis, design, implementation, and testing techniques Database design and functions Data integrity testing concepts and methods Federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations, and codes relating to school accounting Principles of accounting, internal accounting control concepts, budgeting concepts, financial analysis, and financial reporting Training methods and techniques Microsoft office applications including Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. Competencies: Analyzing & Interpreting Data – Drawing meaning and conclusions from quantitative or qualitative data Critical Thinking – Analytically and logically evaluating information, propositions, and claims Legal & Regulatory Navigation – Understanding, interpreting, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations Professional & Technical Expertise – Applying technical subject matter to the job Using Technology – Working with electronic hardware and software applications #J-18808-Ljbffr
