Quality Control Lab Technician

Location: Painesville, OH Pay rate: $25-27 per hour What You’ll Bring Associate degree in Chemistry or at least 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing laboratory. Proficiency with analytical techniques such as physical property testing, wet chemistry, or advanced instrumental methods (GC, LC, ICP, NMR). Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office, laboratory data systems, SAP, and LIMS. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated with a focus on producing high-quality, reliable data. Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make independent decisions swiftly. Capability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Professional interaction with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and stakeholders. Nice To Have Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field. Experience with LIMS and SAP QM modules. Knowledge of ISO9001/14001 standards and internal auditing. Hands‑on experience with root cause analysis and Statistical Quality Control methodologies. Familiarity with proper lab notebook documentation and troubleshooting techniques. Experience working in environments requiring strict safety and quality standards. Preferred Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline. Demonstrated industrial chemical manufacturing laboratory experience. Advanced instrument handling with techniques like GC, LC, ICP, and NMR. Experience with ISO standard environments and internal audits. Other Requirements Ability to work in a dynamic lab and manufacturing environment with proper PPE. Willingness to work on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule. Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and laboratory integrity. Flexibility to occasionally lift or move materials as needed.
