Utilization Review Nurse - Clinical

Schedule
Monday-Friday

Requirements
- RN licensure: GA or Compact license required at time of submission
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Certifications: BLS indicated
- Clinical screen required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive discharge planning and care coordination for patients.
- Conduct concurrent and continued stay reviews, as well as utilization management.
- Identify barriers to discharge and provide solutions.
- Monitor length of stay and coordinate services to appropriate levels of care.
- Familiarity with Medicare regulatory guidelines related to patient choice, IMM notices, and MOONs required.

Compliance / Notes
- RTO requests must be finalized at submission (max 7 days).
- Full compliance required to start on time.
- Complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing.
- All compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start.
- If not compliant in time, start may be pushed 2 weeks.
- If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, expected to work it; if 2 major holidays, expected to work both; if 3 major holidays, expected to work two.
