This contract opportunity is perfect for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC and pediatric experience, ready for full-time, onsite work during a maternity leave from November through March or April. You’ll collaborate on standard SLP responsibilities, potentially including evaluation-only roles, testing, developing IEPs, and direct therapy. The expected weekly commitment is 37.5 hours, and assignments across local schools may vary.

Desired Background & Qualifications:

• Active Texas SLP license and CCC required
• Solid experience in a school-based setting with pediatric populations
• Proficiency with assessments, IEP writing, therapy planning, and execution
• Understanding of caseload/workload models in schools
• Bilingual certification is a plus, but not required
• Comfortable working as an itinerant therapist if assignments demand
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to students, supporting both evaluation and ongoing treatment
• Manage caseload in accordance with district guidelines
• Complete timely evaluations and contribute to multidisciplinary teams for IEP development
• Maintain clear and compliant documentation for all services provided
• Engage collaboratively with staff, families, and students to support communication goals
• Travel as necessary within district for multiple site coverage
