Medical Surgical RN

A Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse is a versatile nurse who provides care to adult patients with a wide variety of medical conditions and those recovering from surgery. They assess patient status, monitor vital signs, administer medications, manage IV therapies, and assist with treatments and procedures. MedSurg RNs coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals, educate patients and families about diagnoses and discharge plans, and ensure a safe environment that promotes recovery. In a dynamic setting like D5, they balance the needs of multiple patients, using strong critical thinking and organizational skills to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
