Responsibilities include:Machine steel parts and rail according to specificationsRead and interpret blueprintsUse digital calipers to ensure accuracyComply with all safety proceduresOperate overhead cranesLocation: Alorton, IL Position type: Full Time, Evaluation Hire Shift: Monday-Friday, 6am-4:30pm or 4pm-2:30am Pay: $22/hr ($1 increase after 90 days and an additional $1 increase after 1 year) Benefits Provided by Client: PTO and Holidays, 401k w/company match, medical/dental/vision/life/disability insurance and flexible spending accountsQualifications:Minimum 6 months machine operator experience, CNC Machine experience preferredAbility to multitask and work with minimal supervisionAbility to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracyAbility to read and use tape measureStrong attention to detail with ability to inspect rail using measuring devicesMust be quality oriented and a team playerComplete understanding of safe work practicesAbility to lift up to 35lbs repeatedlyComfortable standing for majority of the shift, kneel, squat and climb step multiple timesAbility to hear and see parts as they are machined, looking/listening for deficienciesAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and nonverballyFollow all safety procedures, policies and PPE requirements#2784
