HR Administrator - Phoenix, AZ - 5101 Progressive Roofing Compensation $23.00 - $24.00/hour Schedule Full time Description We are looking for an HR Administrator who is adaptable, organized, and ready to learn. This role is a great fit for someone with a strong customer service mindset who enjoys working with people, learning new systems, and supporting a busy HR team. The ideal candidate is a team player who can shift priorities when needed, communicate professionally, and remain calm and solutions-focused during challenging conversations. Schedule Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide day-to-day administrative support for HR processes and team members. Work across multiple HR systems and platforms throughout the day. Complete accurate manual data entry and maintain employee information. Learn new systems, processes, and responsibilities quickly. Support new hire onboarding and help ensure employees have a positive experience from day one. Present information to groups of new employees during orientation. Answer employee questions with professionalism, patience, and a customer service mindset. Navigate challenging conversations and help de-escalate situations in a calm and professional manner. Partner with HR team members and other departments to complete tasks and resolve employee needs. Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail when handling employee information. Adapt to changing priorities and assist with additional HR administrative needs as they arise. What We’re Looking For 1–3 years of HR experience. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable presenting and speaking in front of groups. Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and de-escalate situations when needed. Adaptable and able to learn new skills, processes, and technology quickly. Comfortable working in multiple systems and switching between platforms throughout the day. Strong attention to detail and accuracy with manual data entry. Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Collaborative, dependable, and willing to jump in to support the team. Nice to Have Knowledge of Form I-9 requirements and processes . Previous experience with UKG or a similar HRIS platform.
