Production Coordinator

A New York City based global apparel licensing company is looking to grow their Production team and are seeking a detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join a dynamic team within the retail industry. This role involves overseeing end to end production processes, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Description Coordinate and monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and deadlines. Maintain accurate production records and documentation for tracking purposes. Maintain order sheets and WIP trackers, monitoring all details (fabric, trims, samples, lead times). Communicate regularly with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely material delivery. Liaise directly with international factory partners on a daily basis. Identify and address potential production issues to minimize delays. Ensure all production processes adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements. Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity. Provide regular updates to management on production progress and challenges. Profile A successful Production Coordinator should have: A strong understanding of production processes and operations in the retail industry. Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Apparel Production, or equivalent industry experience. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong knowledge of apparel production/manufacturing processes and capabilities. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work with diverse teams internally, externally and internationally. Proficiency in using production management software and tools. An eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset. Job Offer Competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 dependent on experience. Full time on site in midtown Manhattan.
