Location: Central Health Plaza, 515 W 6th St, Jacksonville, FL 32206 Interview Type: In-Person Work Environment: Open workstation and clinical area Dress Code: Scrubs (Preferably Navy Blue)

Position Overview

Seeking a certified Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care services of a medical nature in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on clinical experience, strong patient interaction skills, and the ability to maintain accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care services in a clinical environment.
• Interview patients and obtain complete medical histories.
• Record and maintain accurate patient records.
• Administer and accurately read blood pressure tests.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures.
• Administer intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous injections.
• Distribute prescribed medications as directed.
• Utilize knowledge of basic medical terminology.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Medical Assistant Certification.

• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
• Experience with:
  • Phlebotomy
  • IM and subcutaneous injections
  • Blood pressure monitoring
  • Patient history documentation
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Technical Skills

• Experience using Health Management System (HMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Information

• Work is performed in an open workstation and clinical setting.
• Candidate must attend an in-person interview.
• Must adhere to dress code requirements (Navy Blue scrubs preferred).
