Position Overview
seeking a certified Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care services of a medical nature in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on clinical experience, strong patient interaction skills, and the ability to maintain accurate medical records.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care services in a clinical environment.
- Interview patients and obtain complete medical histories.
- Record and maintain accurate patient records.
- Administer and accurately read blood pressure tests.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures.
- Administer intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous injections.
- Distribute prescribed medications as directed.
- Utilize knowledge of basic medical terminology.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff.
- Must possess a valid Medical Assistant Certification.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
- Experience with:
- Phlebotomy
- IM and subcutaneous injections
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Patient history documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience using Health Management System (HMS) .
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Work is performed in an open workstation and clinical setting.
- Candidate must attend an in-person interview.
- Must adhere to dress code requirements (Navy Blue scrubs preferred).
