Paralegal

Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities : • Assist the lead attorney with Estate Planning and Probate matters. • NJ civil procedure experience required; PA exposure is a plus. • Bonus if you have experience in contractual litigation. Other Responsibilities: • Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients • Perform case-related management and administrative functions as assigned • Collaborate on management of firm calendar of events Qualifications: • 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting • Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills • Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferred • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to build rapport with clients • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel • Previous experience with document and/or case management software, including time and billing is required • Knowledge in Amicus Attorney Case Management Software is a plus • Conveys confidence in person, phone and in Court • Shows empathy to clients and puts them at ease during their challenging times • Proactive and organized team player • Go-getter with a strong work ethic Key Requirements : • At least 3 years of recent experience in Wills and Estate matters.
