Staff Accountant (Level 2)

Location: Ontario, CA | Type: Full-time | Pay Rate: $20-$50 hourly, depending on experience We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge and a passion for accuracy in financial reporting. You will play a key role in maintaining our financial integrity and supporting critical business operations. Job Responsibilities Perform general bookkeeping duties, including recording financial transactions and maintaining general ledgers in accordance with GAAP. Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and receivable balances, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Review costing of inventory transactions and credit checking status; update daily value of inventory-in-transit. Assist in maintaining Optec Equipment Items. Prepare financial statements. Assist with budgeting, tax filing, and documentation preparation for audits. Assist with monthly cost closing and year end closing. Other duties and responsibilities may be required as necessary. Requirements/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field 3+ years of experience in accounting Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines Strong US GAAP concept Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and external parties Proficient in excel (Vlookup and PivotTable), Microsoft Office skills; ERP accounting system and Sage X3 is a plus Ready to Apply?
