Marketing Coordinator

ABOUT THE ROLE Ciorba Group is looking for a creative and technically versatile Marketing Coordinator / Graphic Designer who can bridge the worlds of marketing communications and engineering visualization. This unique dual-function role sits within the Marketing Group while also collaborating directly with our technical engineering teams to produce high-quality renderings and visual content for both proposals and active projects. Ciorba Group's Peoria office just got a major upgrade, newly remodeled and purpose-built for growth in central and downstate Illinois. We're expanding our presence with IDOT District 4 and local agency clients, and we're looking for people who want to be part of building something, not just joining something. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing & Proposal Support Collaborate with the marketing team on proposals, SOQs, and presentations from concept to submission Design and produce proposal graphics, covers, layouts, infographics, and exhibit pages using Adobe Creative Suite Write and edit project descriptions, captions, and other marketing content Maintain the firm's graphic standards, templates, and digital asset library Assist with website updates, social media graphics, event materials, and internal communications Support CRM data entry and marketing administration as needed Engineering Visualization & Rendering Partner with project engineers and designers to develop 3D renderings and visualizations for proposal submissions and active project deliverables Create and refine models in SketchUp and produce photorealistic renders using Enscape for client-facing presentations Translate engineering drawings, plans, and concepts into compelling visual narratives for a non-technical audience Collaborate with project managers to understand visualization needs and deliver on schedule Develop before/after visualizations, streetscape renderings, and context imagery for community engagement materials QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or related field 2+ years of professional graphic design experience; A/E/C industry experience preferred Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Proficiency in SketchUp and Enscape strongly preferred; experience with other rendering tools (Lumion, V-Ray, etc.) also considered Strong portfolio demonstrating both print/proposal design and 3D visualization work Ability to interpret engineering plans and CAD drawings to inform modeling and renderings Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working across both marketing and technical teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with Deltek Vision or similar CRM is a plus WHAT WE OFFER Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) — build equity as you build your career Flexible hybrid work arrangement Collaborative, team-oriented culture with access to leadership and firm strategy Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA) to support your wellbeing This is a rare opportunity to combine creative design with engineering storytelling at a firm that has shaped Illinois infrastructure for nearly 100 years.
