Work Environment

This role will be based onsite within our modern clinic facility. You will join a supportive team that includes two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), creating a dynamic environment where collaboration and communication are keys to success. The practice operates Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a well-structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual needs, goals, and treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one care, managing a regular caseload of one patient per hour to ensure focused and effective therapy sessions.
• Employ advanced treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise regimens, to promote optimal recovery outcomes.
• Utilize innovative rehabilitation strategies aimed at minimizing the use of pain medications and surgical interventions.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to the unique physical conditions and lifestyle goals of each patient.
• Track progress through diligent documentation in compliance with best practices and insurance requirements, utilizing EMR Software platforms like WebPT.
• Encourage and motivate patients during their rehabilitation process, helping them to achieve their functional potential.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and optimization of treatment plans.
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of treatments and modifications to care plans as necessary.
• Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere that promotes healing and enhances patient engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists primarily of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries, as well as athletes seeking performance enhancement and injury prevention strategies. You will have the opportunity to support a diverse array of patients, tailoring interventions to fit their unique levels of ability and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current licensure and certification as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Solid understanding of manual therapy techniques and the ability to deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Prior clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing patient-centered exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) management systems and rehabilitation software.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.

Compensation and Benefits

SpringLeaf Physical Therapy & Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
