Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist specializing in telehealth services is sought for a contract position supporting educational settings in Philadelphia, NY. This role involves delivering psychological assessments, interventions, and consultation remotely to address students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual psychological evaluations and assessments to identify learning, behavior, and mental health challenges
- Provide telehealth counseling sessions to students requiring support with emotional and behavioral difficulties
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized support plans and interventions
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies based on ongoing assessment data
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in virtual multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expert insights
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure to practice as a School Psychologist
- Experience delivering psychological services via telehealth platforms in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills while working remotely
- Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently within a virtual environment
