Diesel Technician

Technician IIIWe're looking for a skilled Technician III to join our team and play a key role in keeping our fleet safe, reliable, and ready for the road. If you love hands-on work, solving mechanical challenges, and supporting smooth operations every day, this is the role for you!What You'll DoPerform routine and emergency maintenance on all fleet equipment, including on-site repairs (road calls)Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, brake, and suspension systems using diagnostic tools and manufacturer softwareDocument all work accurately, including parts used and labor timeReview DVIRs and follow up on reported issuesPerform welding and fabrication as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentCommunicate repair needs and safety concerns proactively with supervisorsSupport fleet uptime goals and operational efficiencyParticipate in training sessions to grow your skillsWash or detail equipment when requiredWhat You'll BringMinimum Requirements:High school diploma or GED6+ years of hands-on mechanical experience OR equivalent technical certificationsValid Class C Driver's License (Class B preferred)Experience with Class 4–8 vehicles and heavy-duty equipmentProficiency with diagnostic software and power toolsAbility to work outdoors in all weather and follow safety protocolsStrong communication skillsPreferred:Solid waste or transportation industry experienceWelding experience and certificationPhysical RequirementsFrequent walking, reaching, bending, and lifting heavy equipmentManual dexterity to operate tools and equipmentComfortable working outdoors and occasionally in loud environmentsPay & PerksHourly Pay: $29.00 – $34.00Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with company matchTime Off: Paid vacation, holidays, and sick daysExtras: Employee discounts, wellness programs, career growth opportunities, and community volunteer eventsJoin a Team That Keeps Our Community Moving!If you're ready to put your skills to work, support a high-performing fleet, and make a difference every day, apply now and keep our operations rolling strong!
