Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) required for those newly hired or promoted into the position after October 1, 2025. Requires an active Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN License. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. 2 years of experience preferred. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Requires incumbent to be highly adaptable, confident, and skilled in managing change. Experienced in multiple specialties or eager to broaden clinical scope required.
