This position will support both operational queues and projects for acute care hospitals and ambulatory clinics within the AZ NE Ambulatory service area. This role is responsible for providing hands-on technical support in a fast-paced Banner healthcare environment, ensuring reliable technology for our clinical and operational teams.The IT Technician II will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues, support the deployment of end-user devices, and participate in projects as needed. This position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to work independently across multiple locations, and a solid technical background with at least 3 years of IT support experience. In this role you will be required to travel to various Banner locations while working a typical Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule with occasional schedule flexibility necessary. The primary focus is to ensure customer satisfaction for all IT activities and support services. Acts as a resource in documenting issues, problems and concerns in regard to IT resources, tools and systems. This position demonstrates technical knowledge of infrastructure and communications processes and supports system defined objectives relative to the company's business and healthcare requirements. Interacts as part of a team and can support some company Information Technology infrastructure, networks, hardware and applications. May provide cross coverage for Help Desk, Desktop Support or Audio/Visual teams.CORE FUNCTIONS1. Maintains knowledge of standard work routines, equipment and day-to-day activities and/or routines.2. Participates in meetings, presentations, visioning sessions, strategic and planning sessions, implementation activities, and supports functions company-wide.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAssociate's degree or two years of related experience in Information Technology is required.Must be proficient and technically adept in the use and operation of a wide range of desktop, mobile devices and network connectivity. Knowledge of Microsoft Office O365 applications is required.Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and interact with various levels of customer and support groups. Requires communication and presentation and organizational skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences. Requires ability to communicate and interact across all services and at various levels. Must have knowledge of Information Technology in a fast-paced environment.
