We are hiring an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a respected legal team specializing in personal injury law. This full-time opportunity is based in Chesapeake, Virginia, a growing coastal city known for its strong business community, family-friendly neighborhoods, and convenient access to Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and the greater Hampton Roads area. In this role, you will support attorneys through every stage of litigation, from initial case intake to trial preparation and settlement. Ideal candidates will have strong personal injury experience, a history of managing high-volume caseloads, and the ability to work independently while handling shifting priorities and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements
• Manage all aspects of discovery including requests and responses
• Obtain, track, and summarize medical records and billing information
• Prepare exhibits, subpoenas, and jury instructions
• Handle settlement calculations
• Maintain docketing, deadlines, and case organization
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and attorneys throughout the case
• Perform general administrative support for attorneys

Required Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal , with direct personal injury law experience required
• Proven ability to manage a high caseload (70+ claims)
• Strong skills in drafting settlement demands
• Experience with Virginia personal injury claims is highly preferred; North Carolina or surrounding state experience will be considered
• Ability to maintain professional communication with clients and legal teams
