Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students PreK through 12th grade as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) floater for the upcoming school year. This role focuses on providing flexible support to multiple school sites with a dynamic, diverse caseload. You’ll work closely with licensed occupational therapists and educational teams to promote students’ independence, access to learning, and participation in daily school life.

Assignment Details:

• Contract duration: September 3, 2026 – June 24, 2027
• 29 hours weekly (potential to increase to 30 hours/week based on mutual agreement)
• Rotating support between pre-assigned campuses (includes elementary and early childhood centers)
• Caseload numbers and exact scheduling are being finalized

Key Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
• Current MA COTA license in good standing
• Experience—or a strong interest—in school-based OT
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet varied student needs across different settings

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
• Maintain clear documentation and progress reports as required
• Travel between multiple sites within the district as scheduled
• Adapt service delivery as needed to meet diverse student requirements
• Foster positive working relationships with students, staff, and families
