Assistant General Counsel, Healthcare Compliance and Investigations

IQVIA seeks an experienced healthcare attorney to serve as Assistant General Counsel overseeing internal investigations, compliance, and anti-corruption matters. The role involves directing complex investigations, advising on healthcare regulatory compliance and fraud prevention, and supporting the compliance program across a global organization.
Responsibilities
- Direct and advise internal investigations in coordination with Ethics, Compliance, Finance, HR and Internal Audit
- Serve as legal subject matter expert on FCPA, anti-bribery, healthcare fraud laws, and compliance program effectiveness
- Advise on healthcare professional interactions, consulting arrangements, advisory boards, and third-party risk mitigation
- Support M&A diligence reviews, government official gating process oversight, and vendor due diligence escalations
- Advise regional lawyers and business units on ABAC and healthcare compliance requirements in agreements
Requirements
- Juris Doctor and active U.S. law license
- 10+ years experience in law firm, corporate legal, government, or compliance roles
- Demonstrated expertise in FCPA, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, and healthcare compliance
- Substantial experience directing internal investigations and advising senior stakeholders
- Life sciences, healthcare, CRO, or pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred
- Global organization experience with investigations across multiple regulatory environments
- Knowledge of corporate policies, financial systems, codes of conduct, and government official interactions
