Area Director of Revenue Management

We are seeking a results-driven Area Director of Revenue Management to optimize revenue strategies across our Lansing, Michigan hotels. This role works closely with hotel teams to implement revenue management initiatives, maximize profitability, and provide insight on market trends. The Revenue Manager acts as a key advisor to Directors of Sales, General Managers, and Regional Vice Presidents of Sales.

  Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in weekly Sales Strategy Meetings to implement Concord and brand revenue systems and tools.
• Conduct daily reviews of pickup, turndowns, market pricing, inventory strategies, and demand patterns. Communicate findings and recommendations with Corporate Sales Team, GMs, and hotel sales teams.
• Maintain a 60-day transient pace report and present analysis during weekly revenue meetings.
• Monitor local economy and travel trends, including airport traffic, to inform revenue strategies.
• Provide day-by-day forecast recommendations, displacement models for large programs, and analysis of group and transient segments.
• Mentor hotels on effective package creation, seasonal demand generation, and local partnerships.
• Review brand promotions and RFP processes to ensure timely participation and optimized account execution.
• Monitor and provide guidance on e-commerce positioning, SEO/PPC initiatives, and online booking strategies.
• Support hotels not meeting Concord revenue standards with analysis and actionable insights.
• Assist in marketing plan development relative to revenue statistics and hotel strategy objectives.
• Travel to hotel markets as needed to assess market position and build strong relationships with hotel leadership.
• Prepare STAR and Market reports to inform future hotel development opportunities.
• Review and collaborate with hotel team to drive revenue in all revenue centers in the hotels

  Qualifications:

• Proven experience in revenue management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in revenue management systems (e.g., One Yield, MRDW, MarRFP, OnQ, Delphi) and PMS reporting.
• Ability to interpret market data, forecast demand, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple hotels and projects effectively.
